Our heavenly Father is looking for men and women who will dedicate themselves to His kingdom work. He seeks people willing to accept responsibility and carry out His “assignments” to completion.
The Lord commended Moses because he persevered in faith to fulfill the divine calling on his life. Chosen to lead the Hebrew slaves out of Egyptian bondage, Moses initially reacted by questioning, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh?” (Ex. 3:11). But God assured him, “Certainly I will be with you” (v. 12). His presence was a key part of Moses’ equipping as a leader. And the Lord’s response to us is the same. We can confidently accept the responsibility God gives us—whether it’s for leadership or some other role—because He has promised to be with us always (Matt. 28:20).
However, Moses wondered whether the Hebrew people would listen to him. He had been away from Egypt for a long time, and his last interaction with the Israelites had been a negative one (Ex. 2:11-14). What kind of influence could he have? God revealed that the only credential Moses needed to give them was that he was sent by God—the I AM (Ex. 3:14). When the Lord gives us a task, He will bestow the spiritual authority we need to carry it out. In addition, God gave Moses a helper—his brother Aaron. Our heavenly Father will also provide us with the people necessary to fulfill His plan.
God has promised to equip us for His work. What is your response when asked to serve?

I have been a Christian Since 1990 and it is so true that we need to be equipt to handle whatever God
calls us each to do for HIM. If we read the bible and listen, all of our answers come from HIM., !Bless you Jackie~

Hello, Jackie;
It is true; to be equipped to do God’s work one need study the Bible. The Bible is the only book written that honestly gives instruction for all occasion. Whether life, marriage, the sanctity of life or facing death – it is filled with guidance, love, patience and understanding. Not only is the Bible equipped – it equips each of us in different ways. What one passage may speak to me – it may well guide you differently. The same words, yet, leading each onto their own path with God through the Holy Spirit. Proving, beyond doubt, it is inspired by the One True God…. the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
I commend you, Jackie, on your 24 years of walking with Christ. What a testimony you must have to share. God takes us all through the valley’s of trials, despair and tribulations only to deliver us onto the mountain top for us to shout out to the whole of the world our Praise and love for Him………
Thank you for your comment, Jackie. It is greatly appreciated.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you and yours.
Yours in Christ;
Michael

Thanks for your knowledge Michael! I do have a testimony but I think I will put a tab and start that later. I have five weeks of college left and at age 47 a hurdle long awaited for me. I have read my NIV bible 7x atleast, kinda lost track. It’s covered in different colored markers and written in. I cannot imagine someone not highlighting how scriptures speaks to us…yes, all differently. Praise and Glory for the connection God has given me through you. Bless you Michael….♥ sister in Christ

Good morning, Jackie;
Forgive my just returning to you with my response. I assure you it was not intentional.
I am not sure “how much knowledge” I bring to the table; however, I thank you sincerely for the comment. Oh, I am certain you do have a testimony to share and I think too that God, in the appropriate time, will bring you to sharing that testimony with the world. And, I do like the idea of placing it in a tab so that, throughout the future, others might come and share what God has completed in your life. In that manner you will be able to add to it daily; enhancing your message on how God is working in your life. I look forward to the day you launch this, Jackie.
That is an impressive number of times having read your Bible. Many have yet to read it once….. And, I agree, highlighting passages is a great way of reminding (quick reference) ourselves of the message of God to each of us.
I too am thankful for the connection we have. I trust in the Lord that it will continue and grow over time. Some will come into our lives for a short period, while others may wonder in and stay a lifetime. That is why I believe in the old adage of “be careful in how you treat others; for you never know when you are entertaining an Angel.” There is much to be said for that…. and, with that, I say I am pleased in our Lord for bringing you into my life. Whether for a day or for a lifetime……. for who are we to question what the Lord provides?
In my lifetime, Jackie, I have attended five (5) colleges and universities. That, in no way makes me wise or knowledgeable; however, wisdom, on the other hand, is something prayed for and given to those whom God ordains to receive it through the Holy Spirit. Wisdom brought Solomon great judgment and honor to himself and Israel. Through him it proclaimed the magnificence of our God, Jehovah. The gift of Wisdom can bring you more than all of the colleges and universities combined. Making you wise as a leader or a servant. I know, by grace from God, you will do well, Jackie. Your perseverance in obtaining your degree has shown this. And, I pray you will seek wisdom before knowledge and that you graciously accept both from God. For He is your deliverer.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you, Jackie, and may His face shine upon you and yours always.
Your brother in Christ;
Michael
