[A seven part series on “Dispensationalism”:]
Dispensationalism is the system of theology that provides the best, most literal hermeneutic (method of Bible interpretation). Also, dispensationalism makes a clear distinction between Israel and the Church. The classic seven dispensations are Innocence, Conscience, Government, Promise, Law, Grace, and Millennial Kingdom. In each of these, there is a recognizable, six-fold pattern of how God worked with those living in the dispensation. God gives a responsibility to people, they fail to meet God’s requirements, their failure is judged, and God extends grace and hope for the future.
The first dispensation is that of Innocence—Genesis 1:28 to 3:19.
Stewards: Adam and Eve
The Period: From the creation of man to his temptation and fall
Responsibility: To obey God (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:15-17)
Failure: Disobedience (Genesis 3:1-6)
Judgment: Curse and death (Genesis 3:7-19)
Grace: A new chance and the promise of a Redeemer (Genesis 3:15)
Innocence is the shortest of the dispensations. God created man to live in perfect harmony with Himself, and there was nothing known of imperfection or evil. Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, and they were innocent of sin (Genesis 1:27). They had an eternal soul, a free will, and the ability to procreate. They walked and worked with God, who interacted with His creation (Genesis 2:15).
Adam and Eve were innocent until they disobeyed God, bringing sin and death into the world (Romans 5:12). This death affected their bodies and souls and those of all of their descendants. At the moment of Adam and Eve’s sin, they lost their innocence, as they were immediately aware, and they hid in shame from God (Genesis 3:7-8). The couple tried to cover their sin, which they somehow associated with their sex organs, but their attempt was futile.
God pronounced judgment on the man and his wife (Genesis 3:16-19), but He also showed mercy by killing an innocent animal and providing skins to cover over (atone for) their sin. God’s gracious provision showed the inadequacy of man’s attempt to atone for his own sin and the sufficiency of God’s atonement. The slaughter of the animals introduced the biblical principle “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22).
God’s ultimate solution to the sin problem was promised in Genesis 3:15. In His grace God would send One of supernatural birth to redeem mankind. This Savior would be truly innocent and would provide the way to escape the sin nature we inherit from Adam. Jesus Christ is the “Last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45), who offered Himself as the final sacrifice for sin for all who place their faith in Him (1 Peter 3:18).
again, i say it’s dishonest to Tag a post Atheism or Atheist when it has nothing whatever to do with either. you do it to draw people in, i get it. but it’s as dishonest it would be if john zande consistently Tagged his posts on atheism with Underwater Basket Weaving just to lure unsuspecting people to read them.it’s a form of lying. you really should stop

I think calling myself a Christian, and not doing what Christ calls me to do, would not only be dishonest but would be hypocritical as well. Christ tells us to “go into all nations and to make disciples of men”.
If we think in terms of the internet (blogosphere) as being the world (world of words and discourse) and each tag as a nation; then I am doing as Christ commands me to do… via the internet! “I am going to various tags (nations) to bring the good news of Jesus Christ and bring people to Christ.”
I would, and could, agree with you if within the title of a post there suggests one thing to a group of people and delivers the opposite or nothing. That usage of a title would be used to lure them in and be considered dishonest or deceptive. Tagging is a means of getting your message out there and by itself is not dishonest.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless and keep you and yours.

Tagging a post is supposed to tell others what the post is about. My you are lying when you tag a post with atheism that has nothing to do with atheism.

There is nothing further to discuss. God’s Word and my duty to spread His Word is a priority. I will do my duty and serve God.
Have a great day, Kia, and May God bless.

Too many Christians do forget that The One Who cannot be seen by man provided that ultimate solution to the sin problem (promised in Genesis 3:15). this made that the Word spoken was there already long before Abraham. It was only many centuries later that this speaking of God became reality and the sent One from God was born in a supernatural way. Still too many Christians do not want to accept that here was a young girl wanting to accept this gift of God giving birth to redeem mankind. Most of those Christians think God Himself transposed Himself in some manlike body who then would not tell the truth, though the Bible tells us Jesus did not sin. This Savior would be truly innocent and would provide the way to escape the sin nature we inherit from Adam. Jesus Christ is not only the “Last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45), who offered himself as the final sacrifice for sin for all who place their faith in him (1 Peter 3:18). He was taken out of the dead by his heavenly Father, the Only One True god, Who made him higher than angels and took him (Jesus) to sit next to Him (God) to be a mediator between God and man.
All Christians should show much more appreciation for what Jesus did by not making him into their god, indicating also that there is no proof at all that man can get out of the dead and ridiculing Jesus death as a fake act of dying because God Who is a Spirit (not having bones or flesh) is an eternal God Who cannot die.
