Take a long look at this video – To a baby: “When does Life begin and abortion become murder?” Can we answer these questions for them? God reveals to us in His Word that not only does life begin at conception, but He knows who we are even before then (Jeremiah 1:5). Now which of you will tell the child when it becomes murder?

Bless you. A good subject to bring a much needed awareness about where and how life begins.

Hello, Beverly;
Thank you sincerely for the blessing. One can never receive enough of them.
It’s funny how we never consider life, where and how it begins, until it’s being taken from us or thrust upon us in the form of an unwanted child. I heard it said recently that “if God doesn’t judge America then He owes a great apology to Sodom & Gomorrah”. The number of deaths attributable to abortion alone is staggering and God is taking offense to it. We have no respect for the sanctity of life. It must be humanities lowest moment.
I have posted much on life, living, family and abortion. I do not recall writing anything on where and how life begins. Perhaps you have sent me in a new and meaningful direction. Thank you, Beverly, for your visiting and for the comment. Both are greatly appreciated.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you and yours always.
Yours in Christ;
Michael

Hello, Katy;
You are quite welcome. I have a small library of works on the subject of abortion and you are welcome to use any of it to apply to your essay. I would be delighted in your doing so. There is one particular piece, rather lengthy, but detailed, of which you may be appreciative of. You are welcome to use all or part of it. I will provide you a link here for ease of reference. It is “ABORTION: Ten Bible Reasons Why It Is Wrong. I might add some of the material concerning number of abortions performed to date may be somewhat erroneous. I am sure you will have no problem finding updated number.
Katy, I do thank you for dropping by and for the comment. Both are greatly appreciated. I wish you great success on your essay. I look forward to hearing about it and from you again.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you and yours always.
Yours in Christ;
Michael

I thought of something yesterday. Life doesn’t begin in the womb. Both the sperm and the egg are living cells. The new combination of them make a zygote from which the unborn child develops. It’s not new life that begins in the womb anymore that new cells coming into existence thru cell division to replace others that have died.
The difference is that the unborn child develops from a new combination of the living cells that already exist.
Life began a long, long time ago. We are all just the newest combinations and development of that life.

Hello, Kia;
When you refer to rejuvenated cell division within an individual’s life and body I totally agree. However, when you refer to ” It’s not new life that begins in the womb” you are mistaken. Although it is true that the male sperm and the female egg are made up of cells; each of these cells carry the male and female donor’s DNA which combine to form “a new life.” Once one sperm (cell) penetrates the egg the zygote is formed and begins as a (new) single cell but begins to divide rapidly in the days following fertilization and forms new life. From the combination of two different cells we have the “creation” of a new single cell with it’s own new and individual DNA. The new string of DNA is in essence evidence of “new” life.
An individual’s cells can do no more than replicate itself and heal and replenish that person’s body. It can not produce new life; only replenish existing life.
Kia, thanks as always for your comments. They are always welcome and appreciated.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you and yours.
